(BEST) would like to remind Arkansas producers that they are currently required to complete 8 credit hours annually of continuing education, including 1 credit hour of Ethics. Long-Term Care (LTC) producers must complete 8 credit hours initial ltc and 4 credit hours of LTC every 24 months thereafter.
Effective Jan 1, 2011 Arkansas producers will be required to complete 24 credit hours of ce biennially, including 3 credit hours of Ethics. Please note that until further notice the Arkansas Insurance Department will no longer enforce the provision of Section 9 of Rule 82. Until Rule 82 is revised, the 4 credit hour annual annuity training will no longer be required.
