Barrasso: White-tailed Prairie Dog Decision Saves Jobs U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service made the right call in not listing prairie dog as threatened or endangered
BigNews.Biz - May 29,2010 - WASHINGTON, DC -- Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) praised the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s (USFWS) decision that the white-tailed prairie dog does not warrant protection as a threatened or endangered species under the Endangered Species Act. Barrasso delivered the following statement:
“The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service made the right call today. Their decision was based on sound science and common sense.
