Boys JV lacrosse game between the Garden City Trojans and the St. Anthony's Friars at Garden City HS on Friday afternoon April 16th. The Friars opened up the scoring early in the first quarter and held a 3-0 lead at the start of the 2nd quarter. Garden City fought back, tied the score and then took a 4-3 lead before St Anthony's tied it up at 4 to end the first half. The second half of this very physical game went more the way of the Trojans as GC scored five consecutive goals for a 9-4 lead before St. Anthony's was able to add one more goal bringing the final score to 9-5.
