US Firm Introduces New Spa Quality Facial Masks Greenyarn, a Boston firm developing advanced fabrics for consumers seeking eco-friendly alternatives to conventional materials, will relaunch Moist+ 2, new facial mask.
BigNews.Biz - Apr 05,2010 - BOSTON, Mass, April 7th, 2010 - Greenyarn, a Boston firm developing advanced fabrics for consumers seeking eco-friendly alternatives to conventional materials, will relaunch a new anti-ageing facial mask on par with the leading brands in the market, but using Eco-cotton as a medium of delivery.
In 2006, Moist+ Facial masks sold more than 1 million pieces in its first year of launch, but in 2008, immitation Moist+ Facial masks were found and the whole stock lot was recalled. “The recall cost us a lot of money, especially when we just launched and the product is getting traction.” Said Mr Tsai, production manager at Greenyarn. “This is a recall we cannot avoid as we have a commitment to our customers, but we have learnt a lot from the experience.”
“We had to do more research and launch a new facial mask that cannot be copied easily, and in 2010, we have done so.” Said Annie Wu, facial mask developer at Greenyarn LLC. “The new mask is checkered board pattern, and its patented design cannot be copied easily. Yet it still retains its benefits and properties everyone wants.”
"The secret to our new Moist+ 2 mask is it’s trademarked fabric," said Robin Low, CEO of Greenyarn. "The new pattern is an interesting design with embedded bamboo charcoal. The mask is safe as the bamboo charcoal particles do not come off the fiber, yet they fight bacteria, they deodorize and most important of all for mask users, they absorb and emit Far Infrared energy."
Far Infrared energy is a low energy form of light that dips through the skin layer and massages the cells below, stimulating healthy metabolism and blood circulation. This gives the Moist+ masks better moisturizing results, wrinkle removal, and nutrient absorbtion than rival, cotton-based masks.
"The Moist+ 2 facial mask will give you the benefits of a spa-quality facial in your own home, for as little as a third the cost of the next top shelf mask, " said Navin Weeraratne, Greenyarn's Asia accounts manager. "Each mask is pre-cut and pre-moistened with a mix of rose hip, marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, mulberry bark and matricaria extracts, to moisturize skin and boost its radiance. Moist+ will moisturize and repair skin and prevent wrinkle formation. It also protects against free radicals, and whitens skin in just 15 minutes."
Greenyarn is looking for more distributors of Moist+ 2 around the world, for enquiries, please contact sales@greenyarn.com.
