Planning a beautiful and colorful garden in windy, sandy, and sea sprayed coastal communities on the central coast can be tricky. We have some tips for creating a home garden in harmony with the natural environment that also helps preserve the health of our sensitive estuary! Join us on Saturday, April 8 at 1PM at the SLO Botanical Garden as we collaborate with the Morro Bay National Estuary Program’s “State of the Bay” event to learn how you can create a sustainable home garden that helps preserve the beauty of our bay, presented by local Master Gardener, Linda Shotwell and Nicki Edwards. Presentation is followed by a free docent-led tour of the Garden at 2PM.
Presentation is $5 for Garden members/$10 non-members. No reservations are needed. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
