For June, local artist and photographer, Nancy Ridenour displays her Macro Images and Photo Montages of local natural beauty in the Nevin Welcome Center lobby. New exhibits in the display cases show how birds make their nests from plant materials and how Plantations’ Natural Areas Program is preserving rare plant species.

Plantations membership provides shared benefits through the American Horticultural Society (AHS) at other botanical gardens, arboreta, and conservatories in 45 states, Canada, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This typically includes free or reduced admission to grounds and events, plus discounts in garden and book shops.
When you join Plantations, you’ll receive a membership card and the AHS Reciprocal Gardens Brochure, which lists all participating living museums. The list is also updated regularly on the AHS online directory.
