Wild Weed Walk & Talk for Beginners – Saturday, June 9; 9:30-11 am

Starting off with a few photos, learn to identify edible wild weeds! Then join Lynn as we explore the grounds of GBBG to see what grows on the wild side. Class held rain or shine. Dress for outdoors and being off trails. GBBG Members: $7; Non-Members: $14; Pre-registration required – Limit 20
Children's Garden Story Hour – Monday, June 11; 10–10:30 am
Take a break in the Children’s Garden for nature themed stories and activities. Story Hours are free with general admission to the Garden.
Come to the Dark Side – Chocolate! – Monday, June 11; 6-7:30 pm
Instructor: Michael Allen – Professional Chocolatier, Owner of Sweet Temptations by Michael, LLC
Indulge your inner chocoholic and learn more about the process of crafting delicious chocolate from the cacao beans to the final mouth-watering product. Michael will demonstrate three methods of heating and cooling chocolate, describing the pros and cons of each method to help you create perfect sweet treats in your own home. In addition to teaching you how to make a dark chocolate ganache (with opportunities for tasting!), he will discuss the product he creates and explain how it differs from mass-produced chocolate. Weary of the familiar bland selection of pasta which can only come alive with heavy sauces? Let’s get creative and make pasta from scratch with fresh garden herbs and vegetables! This is a hands-on class that will enable you to not only make delicious homemade pasta, but will introduce you to a whole new world of taste and texture. We will then pair our fresh pasta with balsamic vinegars and herb infused extra virgin olive oil to end a perfect summer evening.
