It has E1 bit error rate testing capability and offers out-of-service BER testing, in-service framed and unframed testing, round trip delay measurement, APS delay measurement, frequency, clock slip and level measurement. The Datacom testing function allows it to carry out ASYNC BER testing, SYNC BER testing, SYNC clock source and sense selection, handshaking signals control and monitoring.
